I've been working with them for about a couple years now, but it's kind of weird, because they're almost all in a different state, so we just work remote, and I can't just walk up to their desk and strike up random conversations or meet them by the coffee machine. I am kind of curious sometimes if any of my current coworkers are Simmers. And then no one called me a dictator and instead kept saying nice things about me to my boss, which is confusing because I would 100% say my personality is nowhere near as nice as my coworker's.Īnyway. Unfortunately, we no longer work in the same team, due to corporate mergers and all, so she ended up in a different part of the company than me, but I hope she's doing well.Ĭomplete side tangent anecdote, but she used to be in a position to relay stuff to our partners on another team, who weren't fond of it, and referred to her as a "dictator," so when we changed up our team at the time so I took over those duties, I got a fake military cap and medals and said if they want to call me a dictator, I will lean into that and they can deal with it. Having upgraded my own PC because of Sims 4 moreso than all these modern games I play, I could understand. And kind of funny that she used her bonus one time to buy a gaming PC because she was sick of only being able to run a couple of packs on her notebook before Sims 4 complained hard. It was interesting having a coworker who I could actually talk about it with. She even did the ol' plumbob-above-the-head for Halloween one year in the office. Had a coworker I worked with for a while who was also a Simmer.
